"How could this be…" An ordinary Sumeru traveling scholar is assigned an obscure topic and must go to the far land of thunder… An adventure on the coast begins, little by little!

"Compared to far-sea thunderstorms, delayed graduation is more terrifying…"

On the ship bound for Inazuma, young Harmost thought so…

"You're thinking that if the paper isn't done you'll delay graduation, right?"

A familiar voice came from outside the cabin.

"Shut up—who are you?!"

"Me… does it matter?"

"Well… true, not that important…"

"Hey—"

And so, amid thunder that shook sea and sky, he quarreled with a tiny voice outside the porthole. Worry over the storm and fear of the paper grew less important.

Only… until he went ashore, that voice that had argued outside the porthole never showed itself again.

"Maybe just a shipwreck ghost…"

Harmost told himself.

So-called ghosts are only the leylines' memory of the dead—resonance of past and present. Appearing on the sea is odd, but not wholly against reason.

"You're the ghost—!"
