Liyue Translated text; in-game wording takes precedence

Legend holds that this is an ancient litany commemorating Rex Lapis and the adepti yakshas, and one of the texts of the old Geo Archon faith.

Of all the primordial elements under heaven and earth, only Geo endures forever.

The foundation of solid rock is orthodoxy itself.

Clear rules and upright measures: such is the subtle mystery of the Geo Lord.

Judging good and evil aright, purifying the currents of the seas.

Averting calamity, and crushing demons and monsters.

Once the orrery of law was raised, the floodwaters somewhat receded.

Then the Lord led the adepti forth, with the yakshas at the vanguard.

The people grew brave and strong, and the fiends trembled in fear.

The Lord shaped rock and cast it forth, and mountains arose.

When the sea demons were subdued, all enterprises prospered.

Though the demons were put down, their souls found no rest.

They sank into the abyssal deeps, writhing like coiled dragons.

Wrath and folly, hatred and spite.

Their poison spilled into rivers and seas, and wicked ghosts were born.

Those pestilent ghosts arose from the demons of resentment.

The Geo Lord sent five guardians of the Law.

They purged evil, quieted hatred, and stilled wrath.

Mountains cracked, rock shook, and golden light raged like a storm.

Of those fierce and terrible five, only one remained.

The Golden-Winged Yaksha held the ramparts in peace.

From that day on, the years returned to their former course.

As for the adepti: they rose beyond the clouds.

As for the yakshas: none know where their story ends.

By this sacrifice we console the souls of the dead.

By this lamp we make offering and report to the Lord.
